Equipment decisions: keep, lock, sell, salvage or upgrade
Match gear to the actual attack and shortfall; lock useful pieces and check costs and binding before upgrades or disposal.
Runes: unlock slots and activate the right set bonus
Rune slots open from level 40 to 65; match the class and set count, and check permanent binding before equipping a set rune.
Gems: unlock the specialist, add sockets and choose a bonus
The current specialist unlock is level 30 and 20,000 gold; socket costs use item level, and gem effects depend on the equipment group.
Earth Essence: get it from salvage and plan socket costs
Salvage unwanted Legendary or Divine gear for Earth Essence, then budget 100 per socket plus the separate gold cost.
