Confirm the enemy before using a guide
In the release 1.0.0i map data, the level-25 boss is Venom Queen in Kings Woods South: 4, a Silver stage. Ancient Oak Treant is the level-28 Golden boss at stage 7 of that region. The old demo’s level-25 final-boss discussion is not the same progression target.
If your character is level 25 but the selected boss has a different name, use that boss’s actual attacks and entrance conditions rather than assuming this is the fight. Unlock earlier maps in sequence and check the name in Map (M).
Reduce poison damage
Venom Queen’s listed basic attack is a poison projectile. Poison damage uses Magic Resist and Poison Damage Reduction; Armor by itself does not reduce it. The enemy also has a listed critical chance, so compare the largest hit as well as an ordinary one.
Upgrade the Health Potion at the level-25 tier if available, refill charges and inspect the automatic-use setting in Combat Settings (C). Auto Refill restores charges on revival or returning to town; it does not stop lethal damage or maintain consumed buff potions for free.
Use a loadout you can actually equip
| Class | At this stage, inspect | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Valiant Strike or Cleave, Half Moon Slash, Rage Shield; Deadly Hook from 25 | Physical bonuses do not improve Flame Strike’s fire damage |
| Sorcerer | Ice Shards + Ice Meteor from 20; Ice Nova opens at 10 and Ice Block at 25 | Meteor consumes substantial mana; Mana Conduit applies to the basic attack |
| Hunter | Available basic attack + Steady Shot, Shockwave or Flare from 25 | Knife Barrage and Rapid Fire are not available until 30 and 35 |
| Monk | Furious Fist + Piercing Lunge, with Spirit Stream for recovery | Spirit Twin, Wind Steps and the full set are later prerequisites |
Match the weapon and bonuses to the selected skill. Preserve health and poison/magic mitigation while solving mana pauses. These skill options are available at this stage, but they have not been tested here in class-specific clears.
Diagnose the next failure
If you die early, reduce incoming damage and improve recovery before replacing all defense with damage. If you survive but barely damage the boss, compare weapon level, main attribute and bonuses that really apply. If mana is empty, reduce the expensive cast’s cost or improve basic mana generation. Bonuses requiring a kill may not recover mana while one boss remains.
Farm an earlier stable map if necessary, but keep rarities that can upgrade your weak slots. Retest one change at a time. A successful Silver clear supplies the Normal skull used for later Golden stages; a Venom Queen rein is a separate random reward.
